A note from Diana...

As a mother of two and woman with a strong creative drive, I understand the delicate balance of living a full life and keeping my inner atmosphere calm.  I love offering workshops like these because they enable me to share, in-depth, methods of natural living practices that have worked for me and countless others for millenniums.  The ancient sciences of yoga and ayurveda are empowering.  They attune intuition and refine ones connection to Nature.  When I came to yoga I was a young college student floundering in her mental and physical health; as a young mother I suffered burn out and overwhelm.  Yoga and Ayurveda have been essential in guiding me towards strength, presence, joy and reverence.  I invite you to join me and our community to explore the deep wellness and freedom teachings of yoga and ayurveda.

More About the Workshop

Habits of over-productive compulsion, doing-it-all, or wearing many hats, can feel critical and hard to change. Have you felt yourself promising to make space for ease in your life only to find yourself too overwhelmed to enjoy the present moment flow of the day? When we are too stressed to laugh with our kids or laugh at our own quirky habits, it is time to reassess our scheduling habits and build new priorities into the way we schedule our time.

In this workshop we will explore circadian rhythm and learn how to align with the natural cycles of the day from an ayurvedic perspective.  Breath is an essential tool for cultivating calm, awareness, ease and clarity.  We will practice asana (yoga poses) to stabilize and open the body to prepare for pranayama. Then we will dive deep into a pranayama (life-force/breath-work) practice, and experience first hand how breath can abate the rush of time and give perspective.

They have bolstered balance and well-being, and have provided me with strength, resilience, clarity, and freedom in my body, mind, senses and soul.”

More about Wisdom Flow Yoga

Wisdom Flow Yoga School was founded in 2007 by Jennifer Lynn. With an engineering background, Jennifer appreciated the precise alignments of styles like Iyengar and Anusara, but also felt the importance of celebrating the flow of spirit through joyful movement. Wisdom Flow Yoga blends the Yang elements of organized structure with the Yin of dance-like flow. Structure must align with the laws of nature in order to be strong and sustainable, yet too much dogma can pinch off the organic flow of the heart. Wisdom Flow Yoga embodies a balance of precise alignments and core-centered movement with a playful dynamic flow that keeps the pathways clean, clear and strong, and the song of the heart coming through. In our training students learn a set of elegant alignment prinicples based on the sacred geometry of the human body. We learn to balance these principles in all poses. We learn to ride the flow of breath as the vehicle of awareness to keeps us exploring and refining our body-architecture towards healing and joyful growth.
