Before you apply for a scholarship

• Make sure the program you want to join is an MAMM partner program
• Choose which of their specific programs or passes is right for you
• Contact the leader of that program and make sure there is space for you
• Tell the program leader you will be applying for a MAMM scholarship

MAMM Partner Programs

MAMM partners are mindful movement programs who have been operating on Maui for at least one year and are committed to offering on-going classes that support the long term development of their students. If you are the owner of Maui Mindful Movement program who would like offer financial aid to your students, click the button below to apply to be a MAMM partner. MAMM is dedicated to making mindful movement more accessible to all Maui residents all across the island.

How our Scholarship Program Works

Once we receive your application, we will check with the leader of the program you've chosen to confirm that you do qualify and there is space for you. Once we get confirmation from the program leader, we call you for a quick interview. After the interview, a decision is made based on your need, your level of commitment, and the current MAMM budget. You will be notified of your application status within two week of submitting it. Because our budget fluctuates depending on donations and grants, we may offer you a partial scholarship, or need put you on a wait list until our budget builds, When scholarships are awarded, the funds go directly to the leader of the progrma you've chosen. The program leader will contact you to let you know that you (or your child) have been accepted on scholarship.
