More about this event...

Kabba's professional DJ sound system fills the room with rich sound that sweep us into its energy. Sarah's organic sound instruments add an earthy back drop and signal shifts in the dance of our asana.

As the music fills through the room, you’ll be guided through a soulful vinyasa practice designed to harmonize breath, movement, and collective merging. Each posture becomes a note in a larger composition—your individual vibration joining with others to form a living, breathing symphony of presence.

This is not just an individual yoga class. It’s a sacred dance, a willing surrender to the power of musical vibration to penetrate our souls, dissolve the illusion of separation and blend our asana into a communal offering. As the flow winds down, we’ll transition into a sound bath meditation, allowing the vibrations of sitar, crystal bowls, and silence to integrate the experience and carry our prayers deep into our DNA and out to the far corners of the cosmos.

All proceeds from this event support Maui Access to Mindful Movement (MAMM), a nonprofit that offers scholarships to ensure all Maui residents—from keiki to kūpuna—can access the healing power of mindful movement, regardless of financial circumstance.

Come move, merge, and make meaning. Come offer your energy to a field that gives back. Let’s create harmony—within and beyond.

About DJ Kabba...

At the heart of Kabba’s work is a simple devotion: to strengthen the river of life that flows through each of us, to listen where the currents have slowed, to help the waters move freely again.
Through acupuncture, traditional healing arts, music, and the language of movement, he tends the spaces where vitality, resilience, and connection are born.
Conscious dance — ancient bridge between body, heart, imagination, and soul — is offered as a wide and welcoming doorway. Every body is valued. Every feeling, thought, and human attribute belongs. We move and include.
Through Dancing Medicine, an Open Floor Dance practice, Kabba offers sacred space for movement, for arriving fully and remembering. Here, the dance becomes a way to cultivate a deeper connection with ourselves, each other, community, and Spirit.
Musician, poet, healer... student of silence,
Kabba integrates practices that invite freedom of expression, steady the heart, and nourish the collective spirit. In this space, movement is more than expression — it is medicine, it is belonging, it is home.

A note from Sound Ceremony Leader, Sarah Gray...

Of all the dreams I've pursued this in this life, the one theme in common is an appetite for mystery. Since childhood there has been a nagging feeling that something bigger is just beyond the obviousness of reality. I believe there are endless ways to dance in these liminal spaces, and that one of the most accessible to all people is the non-doingness of sound bath. One of my favorite parts of these gatherings is the potential for collective healing as community, through wordless connection and no expectations.

All that is required is a willingness to relax and explore.

Meet Your Teacher

Jennifer Lynn - BA Mathematics, BS Comp Sci, ERYT 1000 is founder of Wisdom Flow Yoga School and executive director of Maui Access to Mindful Movement. Jennifer was raised to find wisdom in nature, and to live and grow in harmony with nature by following and mimicking its flow and patterns. This bio-mimicry is reflected in her asana classes where she encourages students to align with the divine architecture of their body and flow with the poly-rhythmic music within.

After a battle with stage 4 cancer at age 28, Jennifer radically changed her life priorities and started a path of karmic clearing and joyful growth. Her first yoga class brought a profound out-of-body experience that awakened the music of her soul. She has been on a path to share the gifts of yoga ever since.

Jennifer believes that everything we need to make our lives beautiful and meaningful is already within. And it is through the exploration of our brilliant bodies that we unlock the hidden secrets and awaken our heart song. Jennifer has trained with masters like Richard Freeman, John Friend, Max Strom, Duncan Wong, and Desiree Rumbaugh who all taught alignment principles based on the sacred geometry of the body, nature and the cosmos.

More about Maui Access to Mindful Movement

Maui Access to Mindful Movement (MAMM) seeks to spread awareness of, and access to, the physical, mental, emotional and social benefits of group practices such as martial arts, yoga, cultural movement, dance, and nature immersion.  MAMM’s mission is to show more Maui residents how mindful movement isn't just physical fitness; it's a catalyst for unlocking one’s potential through focus, awareness, and self-regulation. It is an opportunity for social interaction in an environment of discipline, shared principles and common goals. These community activities can be deeply therapeutic.  They bring us out of isolation and give us safe space to move together. When we move with intention, breathe in rhythm, and grow together, something more than physical well being happens – fear transforms into courage, isolation into belonging, and trauma into resilience.   Blending physical activity with mental presence, helps us calm compulsiveness and mindfully channel our energy; developing healthier social interactions and family dynamics. MAMM seeks to bring mindful movement to more Maui families.
